This vase was formed on my potter’s wheel and decorated through firing in a raku kiln. Splashes of black across the surface are created in the firing process resulting in the random, energetic design on the surface.
 
Best suited for dried floral displays. However, due to the porous surface, it’s recommended that another container (jar, cup, glass) be inserted to hold water if used for displaying cut flowers.
