This serving bowl was made on my potter's wheel from a brown speckled, buff colored clay. It's glazed with a matte white glaze on the inside and around the outer ribbed surface. A darker glaze layered around the rim before the final firing creates the melted, toasty brown effect along the top edge of the bowl.
 
Oven safe. Food safe. Microwave and dishwasher safe. Hand washing recommended.
