This oil lamp was made from a white stoneware clay on my potter’s wheel. It’s decorated with carving through black slip revealing the white clay beneath. The exterior and interior of the lamp is lined with a clear glossy glaze. 
 
A clear, clean burning paraffin lamp oil is recommended to burn indoors or outdoors.
